This week’s newsletter is abbreviated as Council recess and Spring Break wraps up. Remember that next week resumes the Council’s budget oversight work to examine agency spending and the Mayor’s proposed FY25 budget. Below are list of next week’s hearings. Also, if you are looking for things to do this weekend, visit Union Market today until 7:00 pm to meet legendary driver David Coulthard and view a Formula One race car up-close at the kickoff of the Red Bull Showrun Festival, here in Ward 5. There will be additional events in the Union Market district throughout May, so stay tuned and join in for the fun.
Tomorrow, April 20, be sure to check out Formula One at the Red Bull Showrun on Pennsylvania Avenue between Third and Seventh Streets NW. The fan zone opens at 1:30 pm and the showrun lasts from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Best of all, this family fun event is free!
