On Tuesday, the Council unanimously approved the Secure DC Omnibus legislation on first vote. There has been a lot of talk about this bill, so I want to take a moment to explain some of what it contains, and what it doesn’t. As with all legislation, we will vote on the bill a second time at our next Legislative Meeting (currently scheduled for March 5).
