Melissa grew up in Woodbridge, VA and is a community organizer. You can find Melissa shaking a tambourine and singing at Alice's Jazz and Cultural Society in her free time. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Belmont University and a Master of Music from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Melissa lives in the Langdon neighborhood with her husband and three children.
