Happy New Year! I am excited to keep linking arms with you this year to advance solutions for a healthier Ward 5 and a more just DC. Performance oversight will start in just a few weeks, along with opportunities to get involved in the District’s budget process and events celebrating neighbors in our community. Just as a reminder, my office is in the process of transitioning to a new communications and constituent services management tool. In the coming weeks, it’s possible that neighbors who have not received my newsletters before may start seeing them in their inboxes. Keep an eye out! We are always looking for new ways to reach more residents and ensure they are informed about the things that impact their community, and we hope this new tool will help us do just that.
Also, please remember that today’s holiday means there will be modified government services and Metro holiday schedules.
