In Spring 2023, I convened the Ward 5 Bus Network Task Force to review WMATA’s Visionary Better Bus Network and develop my office’s formal feedback on their proposal. You can find that original letter to WMATA here. Now, in Spring 2024, WMATA has released their Proposed 2025 Bus Network, a cost-neutral network that can be implemented as soon as next year. I will be reconvening my Ward 5 Bus Network Task Force later in June 2024 to consider feedback from neighbors and develop my office’s formal feedback to WMATA on the Proposed 2025 Bus Network.
